|Information||Harvester Welcome Sign|
Harvest Week is an annual celebration of the return of migrant workers from Leith.
Migrant workers travel from Westerley to spend most of the year on Leith, planting and harvesting crops, including Hokk. The workers must return before their work visas expire. When they return after the harvest, with their wages in hand, they are welcomed by family, friends and the local business establishments with a festive, week-long party.
